Senior Quantity SurveyorRM 5 000 - 6 500 per month
Requirements:
• Degree in Quantity Surveying or its equivalent;
• Minimum 6 - 10 years’ experience especially in the Construction Industry;
• Knowledge of Quality Management and Risk Management will be an added advantage;
• Experience in pre & post contract administration including assessment of contractual risks, rights and obligations;
• Excellent analytical, problem solving, communication and interpersonal skills; and
• Able to work independently and to demonstrate maturity in handling different levels of individuals within the organization and external parties.
Responsibilities:
• Responsible for negotiation, pre and post contract management including preparation of final accounts;
• Ensure verification of claims and recommendations for payments to contractors; sub-contractors and nominated sub-contractors;
• Manage tender operation set-up schedules and deliverables;
• Preparation of tender including cost, document analysis and submission;
• To price for projects during tender exercise;
• Planning and monitoring of tender reports including presentation of approval paper for the appointment of contractors and sub-contractors;
• Managing claims and changes;
• Knowledge of the principles and practices of risk management, internal auditing and corporate governance;
• To perform risk assessment and coordinate a management review of risk identification;
• To provide a monthly/ quarterly Risk Management Report inclusive of overall risk profiles;
• To provide support to the management with any aspect of risk management development within the Group;
• Responsible for implementation and monitoring of Organization Quality Management Plan;
• Prepare Quality Audit Program and conduct project quality audit;
• Ensure all quality control documentation is compiled and completed for as-built hand over; and
• Provide progress data to the planning and scheduling department.
