We are looking for a passionate and experienced Head Chef / Outlet Chef to join our team! If you have hands-on experience in a local kitchen, specializing in Malaysian cuisine, and are ready to lead a dedicated team, we want to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee daily kitchen operations and ensure high standards of food quality, hygiene, and presentation.
• Lead, train, and supervise kitchen staff, ensuring efficient operation and high-quality service.
• Design and implement menus that reflect local Malaysian cuisine, seasonal ingredients, and customer preferences.
• Maintain inventory, ensure proper stock management, and control food costs.
• Enforce cleanliness, safety, and sanitation standards within the kitchen.
• Ensure that the team adheres to health and safety regulations.
• Collaborate with management to improve kitchen operations and enhance customer satisfaction.
Qualifications & Requirements:
• Local Malaysian IC holder only (Full-time position available).
• Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in a professional kitchen, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or leadership role.
• Extensive knowledge of local Malaysian food, cooking techniques, and kitchen management.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and under pressure.
• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Relevant culinary qualification or equivalent experience preferred.
• Strong passion for food and a commitment to delivering excellence.
