Job Scope:
1. answering phone calls, taking messages, photocopying, scanning, faxing, binding documents;
2. monitoring and arranging the firm’s mailings, courier and despatch;
3. ushering clients to meeting room and making drinks for clients during meeting;
4. conducting searches and making enquiries with the relevant authorities i.e. land office, banks, CCM, Insolvency, CTOS, LHDNM etc;
5. opening and closing files;
6. taking care of the firm’s inventories and equipment i.e. stationeries, photocopier, facsimile machine, internet services, replenishment of foods and drinks at pantry etc;
7. drafting letters and preparing invoices and receipts;
8. assisting lawyers in conveyancing matters i.e. sub-sales, loans, discharge, perfection of transfer and perfection of charge and other conveyancing matters;
9. assisting with the preparation of documents for sale and purchase transactions and loan agreements;
10. liaising with the relevant parties including clients, other lawyers, banks, developers, management officers, land officers, utilities providers;
11. monitoring and following-up closely for work progress for files.
