Job Summary:
The Front Office Executive plays a key role in ensuring a seamless and welcoming guest experience from arrival to departure. Based in Penang, this role is at the forefront of hotel operations, providing excellent customer service while handling check-ins, check-outs, and guest inquiries.
Key Responsibilities:
-Greet and welcome guests warmly upon arrival.
-Manage the check-in and check-out process efficiently using the Property Management System (PMS).
-Handle room reservations, cancellations, and modifications.
-Provide accurate information about hotel services, facilities, and local attractions in Penang.
-Address guest requests, concerns, and complaints professionally and promptly.
-Coordinate with housekeeping and other departments to ensure room readiness.
-Handle payments and maintain accurate billing records.
-Uphold hotel policies and security standards at the front desk.
-Maintain a neat and organized front desk area.
Requirements:
-Proven experience in a front office or customer-facing role in the hospitality industry.
-Familiar with hotel reservation software and Microsoft Office.
-Excellent communication skills in English; ability to speak Bahasa Malaysia and/or other languages is a plus.
-Strong problem-solving and multitasking skills.
-Pleasant personality, well-groomed, and customer-focused.
-Willingness to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
