Smart Home System Technician

Job Description

Responsibilities :

1. Installation and Configuration:

- Install and configure smart home devices, including lighting, security systems, thermostats, home automation hubs, and entertainment systems.
- Ensure seamless integration of devices into existing home networks.

2. System Maintenance and Troubleshooting:
- Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to smart home systems.
- Perform regular maintenance checks to ensure optimal performance of installed devices.

3. Customer Interaction and Training:
- Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions.
- Train customers on the use and maintenance of their smart home systems.

4. Technical Documentation:
- Maintain detailed records of installations, configurations, and troubleshooting activities.
- Provide feedback to the design and engineering teams for system improvements.

5. Safety and Compliance:
- Adhere to safety standards and ensure compliance with local electrical and building codes.
- Ensure that all installations meet company and industry standards.

Qualifications :

1. Experience:
- With / Without Experience are welcome
- Proven experience as a technician in smart home systems, electronics, or IT.
- Hands-on experience with IoT devices and home automation technologies.

2. Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in configuring smart home platforms like Google Home, Alexa, Apple HomeKit, or similar systems.
- Knowledge of networking (Wi-Fi, LAN, routers) and basic electrical work.
- Familiarity with tools and equipment for system installation and troubleshooting.

Working Hour
- 9.00am – 6.00pm Monday – Saturday (office hour)

Salaries & Benefits :
- Basic salary RM1,500
- Attendance & discipline allowance RM300
- Monthly commission
- On the job and other relevant training will be provided
