1996 Proton Wira 1.5 GL Carburettor

1 owner from new with the original grant (geran lama) and the original purchase invoice from USPD. Full service records since the car was new and both original keys available.

Odometer stopped working about three years ago but the mileage of this car should not be more than 120k. Only used it to drive to campus (15 mins away) until 2024. Has been a weekend car since.

✅The car still has the original items and accessories such as the USPD carpets, all the manuals and booklets, two proton branded canisters for spare water and oil (very rare), spare tyre and jack, spare toolkit and first aid kit, and the old detachable Sony radio, though it only works intermittently.

The interior condition is still very good for its age and the car has never overheated. Cold start might be a little rough, especially when the car hasn't been used in a while, but the engine becomes smooth once it has warmed up. New owner may want to check engine timing as the idle can sometimes be quite low in traffic, but it has never stalled before. Aircon is cold.

❌The regulator for the rear left window is broken. Car needs a repaint. The central locking system works but can sometimes act up when you're unlocking the car. Fuel gage is wonky and the speedo is dead, but the temperature gage works perfectly.

This is my grandmothers car I'm helping to sell and it's in very fair condition for its age. Quite a rare car considering all the original parts and documentation from new, even though it has the less desirable 4g15 engine and 3 speed auto gearbox. Would be a suitable project car or for restoration as it's quite a time capsule. Even though it's not perfect, you won't find another one like this so easily.

Asking price 4k. Open for negotiation. Hate to see it go because of its sentimental value but I can't keep it anymore because of limited parking space.
