1.2 turbo Renault engine is very reliable and robust. Since I bought the car , first thing I did was some preventative maintenance , so that I can drive with a peace of mind. I’ve driven this car to Koh Samui , Langkawi , Singapore etc , It’s a small cc car that performs like a higher cc car , also with great ride height and clearance.

Parts changed

- original thermostat
- original water pump
- original fuel pump

The three main most costly fix has been done . If you’re out there looking for a Renault captur , someday you might need to fix these things. I did it even before they broke or didn’t work , for a peace of mind. Such a lovely car to drive , even if you need to get from Penang to Singapore asap , the car will do it with ease , due to its solid body and nippy engine which performs like a 1.8 or 2.0
