Classic 1972 Mercedes Benz 220, model W115, 4 cylinder petrol with 4 sp manual transmission.

This car is in excellent shape, having undergone 2 previous restorations. The first was a major restoration, done approx 15 years ago, by its erstwhile owner, a dignitary who had cherished this car for more than 20 years as part of his private collection. I acquired the car 5 years ago, in which time the car has had a second albeit minor restoration.

The 220 is a desirable model, much more responsive and rarer than its 200 or diesel brethrens. This example has never been a taxi and has been well cared for all of its known history. This is a straightforward rust free example that drives and presents well, and is as solid and reliable as they come. And yes, the air conditioning system is good.

The price is RM48,000 o.n.o, which i consider a bargain considering the condition of the car and the time and money that's been spent on it over the years.
