CNC Milling CAM Programmer

Job Overview :
We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented CNC Milling CAM Programmer to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating, optimizing, and troubleshooting CNC programs to ensure efficient and accurate machining operations.

Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and prepare CNC milling programs based on drawings
• Select appropriate tools, cutting parameters, and machining strategies.
• Set up, test, and optimize programs to achieve high precision and quality.
• Work closely with machinists and engineers to improve machining efficiency.
• Troubleshoot machining issues and ensure machines run smoothly.
• Maintain documentation and ensure compliance with company standards.

Required Skills & Experience
• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in CNC milling programming.
• Hands-on experience with 3-Axis / 5-Axis in CNC Milling
• Strong experience with CAD / CAM software such as Autodesk Fusion 360 / NX / Mastercam / Solidworks.
• Ability to read and interpret GD&T, tight-tolerance drawings, and complex geometries.
• Strong knowledge of cutting tools, carbide grades, coatings, and micro-machining principles.
• Experience machining tool steel, HAP40, hardened materials, stainless steel and engineering plastics.
• Familiar with boring, reaming, pocketing, profiling, drilling, and finishing strategies.
• Understand surface finish control (Ra), burr formation, and dimensional stability.
