Dental Surgery Assistant (DSA)

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Chairside Assistance: Pass instruments, mix dental materials, and use suction devices or water sprays to keep the surgical area dry and clear during operations.

• Room and Patient Preparation: Sterilize and organize equipment, set up instrument trays, and seat or comfort patients prior to surgery.

• Infection Control: Maintain a clean, safe, and sterile operating environment following strict health and safety protocols.
