Job Description
- Handle Halal certification applications from preparation to approval.
- Prepare and maintain Halal documentation, SOPs and records.
- Review ingredients, products and suppliers for Halal compliance.
- Verify suppliers’ Halal certificates and supporting documents.
- Conduct site inspections for restaurants, kitchens and food premises.
- Advise clients on kitchen layout, storage, hygiene and Halal compliance.
- Identify non-compliance issues and recommend corrective actions.
- Liaise and follow up with JAKIM/JAIN and relevant authorities.
- Prepare clients for Halal audits and assist during inspections.
- Monitor application progress and ensure timely follow-up.
