Job Description

To plan, deliver, and manage engaging robotics, coding, and STEM lessons using LEGO Education kits (WeDo 2.0, SPIKE Essential, SPIKE Prime, or Mindstorms) while developing students' creativity, problem-solving, teamwork, and computational thinking skills.

Key Responsibilities
1. Lesson Planning
Prepare weekly lesson plans based on the curriculum.
Design age-appropriate robotics and coding activities.
Prepare teaching materials, worksheets, and presentations.
Ensure lessons align with STEM learning objectives.

2. Teaching & Training
Conduct robotics classes for students aged 5–18 years.
Teach robot building using LEGO Education kits.
Introduce programming concepts using Scratch, block coding, and Python (where applicable).
Explain engineering concepts in an engaging and practical manner.
Guide students through hands-on projects and competitions.

3. Student Development
Monitor each student's learning progress.
Encourage creativity, critical thinking, and teamwork.
Provide individual coaching where necessary.
Motivate students to complete projects independently.

4. Classroom Management
Maintain a safe, organized, and positive learning environment.
Manage attendance and student discipline.
Ensure all LEGO parts and equipment are returned after class.
Keep the classroom clean and organized.

5. Equipment Management
Inspect LEGO kits before and after each class.
Report damaged or missing components.
Maintain inventory of robotics kits, laptops, batteries, and accessories.
Assist in preparing kits for upcoming classes.

6. Competition & Events
Train students for robotics competitions and STEM exhibitions.
Assist in organizing robotics workshops, boot camps, and holiday programs.
Support school demonstrations and public exhibitions.
Prepare competition strategies and practice sessions.

7. Assessment & Reporting
Evaluate student performance regularly.
Prepare progress reports for parents or management.
Maintain attendance and achievement records.
Recommend students for advanced classes.

8. Parent & School Communication
Communicate students' progress professionally with parents.
Handle enquiries regarding robotics programs.
Provide feedback after each training cycle.
Support school partnership programs when required.

9. Administration
Submit weekly teaching reports.
Prepare class schedules.
Assist with student registration.
Participate in trainer meetings and professional development sessions.

10. Continuous Learning
Stay updated with new LEGO Education products and robotics technologies.
Learn emerging STEM and AI education tools.
Attend relevant workshops and certification programs.
Share new teaching ideas with the education team.
Strong communication and presentation skills.
Passion for teaching children.
Patient, energetic, and creative.
Good classroom management skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
