Job Description
RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Assist with preparation (washing, chopping, peeling ingredients, marinating)
2. Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen, including utensils, work surfaces, and equipment.
3. Assist with receiving, unpacking, and storing deliveries.
4. Ensure basic stock levels are replenished (ingredients, cleaning supplies).
🍴 Job Scope
1. Work under supervision of head or kitchen supervisor.
2. Provide support to ensure smooth daily kitchen operation.
3. Perform routine cleaning and sanitizing tasks.
4. Follow health, hygiene, and safety procedures at all times.
5. Maintain organization of storage areas (dry store, fridge, freezer).
Qualifications & Requirements
1. Minimum SPM / secondary school education.
2. Basic knowledge of food hygiene and kitchen safety.
3. Physically fit to handle standing long hours and lifting.
4. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
5. Good teamwork, discipline, and willingness to learn.
6. Prior kitchen or F&B experience is an added advantage but not always necessary.
