Production Coordinator (Powder Coat)

-Responsible for the direction of paint/powder coat section.
-Manage the daily operation of powder coat system.
- Coordinate with Extrusion Planning, Quality Assurance (QA), Warehouse, and other departments to ensure smooth production flow.
-Supervises and coordinates activities of workers engaged in painting and powder coating trailers.
-Prepare and generate operational reports tracking daily production output, line efficiency, downtime, and reject/rework rates.
-Responsible for the quality finish of the powder coated finishes fulfilling prescribed standards.
-Develop and execute powder coating production plans by scheduling and assigning personnel, establishing priorities, monitoring progress, revising schedules, and resolving production issues.
-Ensure powder coating production meets quality standards and customer requirements.
-Ensure compliance with company procedures, safety regulations, and production requirements.
-Perform other duties as assigned by the Factory Manager.


Qualifications & Requirements:

-Certificate / Diploma in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Operations, Supply Chain Management, or a related technical discipline.
-Minimum 2–3 years of direct experience in powder coating production planning or supervision.
-Strong knowledge of electrostatic powder coating processes, curing oven cycles, and aluminium profile handling.
-Ability to supervise and coordinate production workers.
-Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
-Good communication and coordination skills.
-Able to work independently and manage production activities under tight deadlines.


Preferred Skills:

-Experience in aluminium extrusion or surface finishing industry.
-Familiarity with production planning systems and Microsoft Excel.
-Knowledge of powder coating quality control and production efficiency monitoring.

Working hours: Monday - Friday: 8.30am - 5.00pm
Saturday: 8.30pm - 1.30pm
