Job Description
Job Responsibilities:
Inspect and test empty cylinders, including evacuating any residual gases when necessary.
Record accurate information for each cylinder, including weight, cylinder number, and type of gas.
Connect cylinders to the manifold using appropriate tools such as wrenches.
Position cylinders onto platform scales or manifold racks manually or by using a chain hoist.
Fill cylinders in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), adjusting valves and monitoring gauges to achieve the specified pressure.
Perform basic quality checks on raw materials and semi-finished or finished products, including sampling for further analysis when required.
Prepare, complete, and attach identification and safety labels, including tare weight, gross weight, cylinder number, gas type, and filling date.
Maintain accurate records of filling and inspection activities.
Assist in the preparation and handling of cylinders for testing.
Requirements:
Minimum SPM or equivalent qualification.
Prior experience in industrial gas handling or manufacturing environment is an advantage.
Basic knowledge of safety procedures and handling of pressurized gases.
Physically fit and able to handle heavy cylinders.
Responsible, disciplined, and able to follow instructions strictly.
Willing to work in a plant/factory environment.
