A Series C Bank of England 10 Shillings banknote featuring a portrait of Queen Elizabeth II, issued between 1960 and 1970.

Key Details: Signed by Chief Cashier J.S. Fforde (in office 1966–1970), with serial number prefix 75U, graded as Fine 12 with apparent rust stains by PCGS Currency as shown on the upper holder.

Historical Context: This violet-brown note was part of the first series to feature a portrait of the Queen, and it was withdrawn and demonetized following decimalisation after the 50p coin replaced it.
