The Omega Constellation has long been the brand’s flagship of precision, and in the 1970s that tradition carried into the quartz era.
This Ref. 198.0017 features a sharp faceted case with integrated bracelet, an evolution of Gérald Genta’s 1960s C-case design that channels the same design spirit later seen in the Royal Oak.
Inside is the COSC-certified Cal. 1343 quartz, a rare chronometer-rated movement showcasing Omega’s push for accuracy during the quartz revolution.
The silver sunburst dial with applied indices and framed date at 3 adds elegance, while the 35mm case with observatory caseback completes a design that bridges tradition and innovation.
Fun fact: Omega’s quartz Constellations were among the very few quartz watches to ever achieve COSC certification.
