Main Duties and Responsibilities:
Quality Assurance Executive
• Committee of Food Safety Team for ISO 22000 Food Safety Management System and ensure current management system, production and operational are complied with ISO 22000, HACCP, GMP and MESTI standard requirements
• Assist in ISO 22000 documentation & implementation in the field of QA, Admin & Management
• Assist in GMP system documentation & implementation in the field of QA
• Assist in regulatory & statutory compliance of all incoming and outgoing products
• Assist in any safety and quality issues related to raw materials, packaging materials and finished products
• Assist in reviewing the implementation and efficiency of quality and inspection systems, internal & external audit
• In-charge in dealing with Government Bodies which included JAIM, JKKP, MOH, MITI, MIDA, Town Council & Non-Government Bodies (FMM) and etc.
• Liaise with suppliers regarding quality issue and evaluate them on yearly basis
• Ensure all supporting documents of materials are filed accordingly
• Represent company in replying customers’ enquiries and feedback on products. Assist in investigating and studying customer complaint investigation
• Ensure calibration & medical checkup of operators are carried out as scheduled
• Check and monitor metal detector, leak tester, weighing machine performance daily
• Assist in giving training to operators and new staff
• Assist in reviewing packaging artworks
• Monitor pest control
• Others duties as assigned/ required by immediate superior or the management.
• Responsible to immediately report on any problem arise related to FSMS to the director
Halal Executive
• Team leader of Halal Assurance System (HAS)
• Responsible for overall HAS management in the company
• In charge of all halal applications of new products & renewal
• Liaise with JAKIM and JAIM for compliance/ surveillance audit on HAS
• Work closely with other departments for improvement on operation process to ensure product safety and quality.
• Knowledge of ISO 22000 / FSSC 22000, GMP, MESTI is required.
Internal Halal Committee (IHC)
• Responsible for developing, monitoring and controlling the halal assurance system to ensure its effectiveness.
• Others duties as assigned/ required by immediate superior or the management.
