An authentic YASHITOKU original 17" Geisha doll

The exquisite handicraft of Japan's oldest (1711)"doll" maker - YASHITOKU. This is 17" tall authentic original Yashitoku Geisha doll. It was acquired around 1970's.

For those not familiar, Google or checkout YASHITOKU (not just any maker but a true, authentic YASHITOKU original ) - Japan's oldest (since 1711) and most famous maker of such delicate, exquisite "dolls". Some vintage Yashitoku dolls sells for thousands of dollars.

I have specially uploaded many photos to show the many delicate beautiful details the artisans have included in making these dolls - check out its hairdo/accessories, the fan in her hand, the colours and richness of the materials and the flow of her kimono. One can almost imagine this Geisha coming to life.

It comes together in a protective plastic container as shown.
