Koi fish, by itself, represents not just grace and beauty but more so of LONGEVITY. These auspicious carps also symbolizes abundance of good fortune & marital bliss, ensuring joyous unions.
And here, we have the 2 Koi's forming the ultimate symbol of good Chinese feng shui - “Yin & Yang” symbol. While this represents the "opposites" of Life, it also emphasizes on how these opposites bin fact actually complements each other in every aspect of our lives.
While "Yin & Yang", in Chinese, is thought to represent the two great opposite but complementary forces at work in the cosmos.

Yin is the female, cold, dark, passive power and, yang represents masculinity, light, and warmth. Also, earth, rain, soft, evil, black, small, even (numbers), are Yin; heaven, sunshine, hard, good, white, large, and odd are Yang.
