This is a large vintage oval bronze/brass talam, measuring approximately 20 × 30 inches and weighing a substantial 2.8 kg.

The tray features an impressive deeply worked floral and foliage pattern across the centre, surrounded by a distinctive raised decorative border. Its generous size and substantial weight give it a strong presence—this is not a lightweight modern decorative tray.

The surface remains in untouched aged condition, showing dark natural patina, oxidation, verdigris and signs of long-term use and storage. It has not been polished, leaving the next owner the choice of preserving its aged character or carefully restoring it to reveal more of the original metal tone and decorative details.
