Bucherer Pocket Watch

Bucherer is a Swiss company founded in 1888 in Lucerne. The brand is known for its luxury watches.

This is a rare example of a pocket watch by this company. It is in superb condition and has a very unusual dial

Quartz Movement – the nickel ¾ plate movement has signed “Bucherer, ( 6 )Jewels, Swiss Made”. The movement is in mint condition

Case – the quartz movement comes in a gold coloured metal face case, which has a snap on back and bezel. The case is stamped Bucherer.


Dial – the silvered dial has raised gilt numbers and gilt hands. The dial is decorated with a harlequin pattern with alternating lozenges engraved or plain. When held to the light, the dial catches the light and creates a stunning three dimensional effect. The dial is signed “Bucherer” and is in mint condition

The watch measures 25mm
The watch has a mineral glass
Comes with original long necklace chain.
