CARETAKER FOR DEPENDENT AUTISTIC ADULT

We are looking for a patient, caring and responsible caretaker to support a dependent autistic adult with daily activities, learning and outdoor activities.

Requirements:
• Valid driving licence and confident/experienced driving
• Non-smoker
• Able to swim
• Physically active and able to participate in outdoor activities such as jogging, badminton, basketball, gym, etc.
• Able to converse in English only
• Patient, calm and compassionate
• Has empathy and understands the needs of an autistic adult
• Responsible, attentive and trustworthy

Job Scope:
• Provide companionship and supervision
• Accompany during classroom/learning activities such as Kumon, speech sessions and other structured activities
• Assist with simple daily activities such as vacuuming, folding clothes and other household tasks
• Accompany and participate in suitable outdoor activities
• Ensure safety and provide appropriate support throughout daily activities

Ideal Candidate:
Someone who genuinely enjoys working with and supporting individuals with autism, is patient and understanding, and is willing to actively participate in activities rather than simply providing supervision.
