This exotic Chinese antique cabinet is from northern, China.

We found this Chinese elm wood cabinet in the Chinese Antique Shop in Jonker's Street, Melaka. Unusual 2 door cabinet with 4 painted panels and 2 bottom drawers. Has an inside shelf unit behind the large two doors. Restored and polished inside and outside with new big brass hardware, this handsome black lacquer armoire is hand painted in a Chinese landscape design.

Clean and simple lines with Ming style elements and carvings. Use in a bedroom for clothing or in the living room as a entertainment center. Works in a modern, rustic or cottage interior. Refinished inside and out.
