Crafted with intricate brass wire and brilliant enameling set against a striking black cloud-patterned background, one vase features a vibrant Imperial Dragon chasing the flaming pearl, while the other showcases a beautifully detailed, multicolored Fenghuang (Chinese Phoenix).

The necks and bases are adorned with highly detailed floral scrolling, and both pieces feature clean, solid blue enamel interiors and undersides.
