The Eagle UI-50-FS is a highly specific USA made model: a 5-gallon (18.9 liters) Type I red galvanized steel safety can designed primarily for gasoline (petrol) and other flammable liquids (diesel, kerosene etc).

Physical Specs: It stands 13.5 inches high with a 12.5-inch diameter, weighing roughly 7 lbs (3.18 kg) empty and 37 lbs (16.78 kg) when full.

Single-Opening System: As a Type I can, it uses the exact same single opening for both filling up at the pump and pouring fuel out.

The Yellow Plastic Funnel: A detachable HDPE plastic funnel (model F-15). Leave this funnel off when filling the can at a gas station, then snap it onto the spout when you need to pour fuel into smaller equipment tanks.

Trigger Mechanism: To pour, squeeze the patented comfort-grip trigger under the handle. This manually pulls back the spring-loaded, neoprene-gasketed lid.

Built-in Venting: You do not need to manually vent this can. If internal pressure builds up from temperature changes, the spring-loaded lid automatically cracks open to vent pressure safely at 3 to 5 psi.

Flame Arrestor: Inside the spout is a metal mesh screen. It is a critical safety device that stops external sparks or flames from traveling down into the fuel vapor inside the can.
