Smart Waste bin - IoT Based Prototype
This is a fully functional Smart Waste Bin prototype developed as part of the CT101-3-3 Internet of Things (IoT) module at Asia Pacific University (APU) in 2024. The project received an A+ grade, showcasing excellence in both design and functionality.
An Arduino-powered Smart Waste Bin designed to improve waste management using IoT. It features a motion sensor for automatic lid opening, an ultrasonic sensor to measure waste levels, a visual indicator system (green/yellow/red LEDs), LCD display, and sound alerts for near-full capacity. Perfect for smart home or academic demonstration projects. Fully functional, with complete wiring, source code, and Thinkercad simulation included.
