Great Teacher Onizuka (GTO) follows Eikichi Onizuka, a 22-year-old former gang member and v1rgin who dreams of becoming the greatest high school teacher in Japan. Assigned to a class of cynical, rebellious students who have driven previous teachers to madness, Onizuka uses his street-smarts and toughness to break through their walls.
