A Better Tomorrow III: Love & Death in Saigon (英雄本色III 夕陽之歌) follows Mark Gor (played by Chow Yun-fat) as he ventures into war-torn Saigon in the 1970s to rescue his family, only to get caught up in smuggling and political chaos; there, he meets the fierce and enigmatic Kit / Chow Ying-Kit (played by Anita Mui), and his cousin Cheung Chi-Mun (played by Tony Leung Ka-fai), leading to a volatile love triangle, fragile loyalties, and a desperate attempt to escape as Saigon collapses.
