Supplier Development and Maintenance * Source products that meet customer requirements through both existing and newly developed suppliers. * Thoroughly understand the capabilities and limitations of new suppliers' offerings. * Maintain strong relationships with all suppliers and stay updated on their latest developments and new product offerings. 2. Pricing & Negotiation * Receive inquiries from clients. Understanding and studying their request specification. To contact relevant supplier for quotes. * Evaluate factors such as price, product quality, and supplier service quality to select the best suppliers. * Communicate and coordinate with suppliers regarding pricing, specification and payment terms. 3. Other Task * Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy in sales team. * Data analysis including annual review, spend analysis, budgeting, costing, forecasting and strategic planning for Sales & Purchasing Department * Development of key performance metrics for vendors * To undertake additional duties and tasks assigned and assume responsibilities as may be assigned by Head of Department. B - SKILLS, REQUIREMENTS & BENEFITS 1. Critical Skills * Experience in the interpretation of contract business terms & conditions * Experience in drafting business proposals and business plans * Strong negotiation and influencing skills * Knowledge and experience sourcing for suppliers/partners in supplies industry will be strongly preferred 2. Additional Knowledge & Skills * Strong problem solving and analytical skills * Ability to successfully manage numerous projects/tasks simultaneously * Excellent presentation, written and oral communication skills * Strong MS Office skills include intermediate to advanced Excel 3. REQUIREMENTS * Diploma or Bachelor of Engineering course or in Business Administration or in relevant qualification. * Minimum 2 years’ experience in procurement or purchasing, preferably in Manufacturing/Civil Construction/Facilities Maintenance/Mechanical and Electrical industry. * Able to be based in Jitra, Kedah. 4.
