Site Safety Supervisor required for our Site Project Location at Bandar Sri Ehsan, Banting. (Immediate Vacancy) JOB DESCRIPTION:- • Ensure the safe working practices are observed and complied by all staff/workers at the site. • Carry out and prepare the daily site Safety Inspection Checklist. • Carry out safety programs (Safety induction/toolbox meeting, etc) to new workers/subcontractors workers from time to time. • Monitor the daily safety general workers activities at site. • Inspect the worksite machineries and equipment which are being utilized at the site in order to ensure compliance to the project site safety requirements. • Assist in incidents/accident investigation and reporting. • Ensure safety signage, first aid kit, firefighting equipment and adequate supply of safety materials are available at the worksite. • Ensure all site accessories are safe and housekeeping carried out at site. • Assist and report to the Project Manager/SHO on issues pertaining to the site safety, health and environmental matters. • To be a team player and proactive in promoting safety, health and environmental matters at the workplace. • Ability to travel as and when required. JOB REQUIREMENT:- • Registered with JKKP Yellow Book holder is compulsory. • Candidate must possess at least a Diploma/Degree/Professional Certificate, or equivalent. • Required language(s): Bahasa Malaysia, English. • At least 3-5 year(s) of working experience in construction field. • Independent with persuasive interpersonal skills and results-driven. • Exhibit strong negotiation and problem solving skills. • Target oriented and ability to work under pressure to meet targets. • Aggressive and fast learner. • Good attitude and responsible character. Safety & Health Officer required for our Site Project Location at Kg. Sg. Kelambu, Banting. Job Description: • Assume duties as a competent Safety Officer and to lead a team of site safety supervisor. • Inspect all construction sites and monitor contractors' performance of compliance on safety, health & environment according to statutory environment. • To advise and promote safe work, health and environment practices. • To attend kick off meetings to brief on safety, health & environment requirements on site. • To observe and participate all weekly toolbox meetings by highlighting unsafe act / conditions to create awareness to contractor's workers. • To advise or update Management on policy / laws governing safety changes on health and environment. • To liaise with internal auditor / external auditor during safety audits. • To liaise with Government Authorities on safety, health and environment matters. • To report on any accidents / incidents to Management and prepare an investigation report and recommend corrective actions to parties concerned. • To follow up and advise contractor's Safety Implementation Plan to meet project objective. • To focus, discipline, work diligent and high integrity on duties. • Any other duties as assigned by the Management. Requirement: • Possess Green Book (Compulsory & please stated your DOSH/JKKP registration no. in your resume). • Candidate must possess at least Professional Certificate in Engineering (Environmental/Health/Safety) or equivalent. • Knowledge in Occupational Safety and Health 1994 act and other related regulations. • At least 5 year(s) of working experience in construction industries especially road works / highway project will be an added advantage. • Must be proactive and diligent in carrying out duties. • Possession of excellent leadership skills is a must.
