Malaysia's best-selling EV for four straight months after its December 2024 launch, the Proton e.MAS 7 won buyers over with a spacious, practical cabin at a compelling price. A 15.4-inch infotainment screen and 10.2-inch digital cluster form the tech centrepiece, while the 2,750mm wheelbase and flat rear floor translate to class-leading rear legroom. Thirty-three interior storage compartments include a large drawer under the rear seat — a standout for family practicality. The 2026 update brings CKD local assembly, a standard powered tailgate, updated ADAS, and prices cut to from RM103,800. Boot space is 490 litres, expandable to 1,888 litres, supplemented by a 51-litre sub-floor compartment.
