The 997.2 generation represents one of the most sought after eras of the modern Porsche 911, compact, naturally aspirated, analogue in character, yet refined enough to be genuinely usable every day.

Motorhaus introduces this 2009 Porsche 911 Carrera S Cabriolet (997.2), finished in Agate Grey Metallic with a beautifully specified Beige leather interior.

Asking price: RM355,000 (negotiable)

Mileage: 50,000 km

Service history: Fully serviced with Porsche Malaysia with the most recent service being in July 2026

Originally brought in by Porsche Malaysia

The 997.2 is particularly special within the 911 lineage. It combines the classic proportions and compact dimensions that made the 997 so desirable with the significant mechanical and technological improvements introduced with the facelift.

At the heart of this Carrera S is Porsche’s naturally aspirated 3.8 litre flat six, paired with the highly regarded 7 speed PDK transmission.

This combination delivers the unmistakable character of a naturally aspirated Porsche, immediate throttle response, progressive power delivery and that distinctive flat six soundtrack, while the PDK provides effortless usability when cruising around town.

Being the Cabriolet, this particular Carrera S adds another dimension to the experience.

With the roof down, the flat six soundtrack becomes an even more integral part of the drive, making it equally suited to relaxed weekend drives as it is to spirited backroad runs.

Finished in Agate Grey, the exterior carries the timeless and understated appearance that suits the 997 generation particularly well.

Inside, the Beige leather cabin gives the car a luxurious and elegant character, complemented by an extensive factory specification.

This particular unit was brought in by Porsche Malaysia and has been maintained with Porsche Malaysia throughout its life. It was most recently serviced in July 2026.

The car has also been recognised as a Modern Classic by Porsche Malaysia, entitling the owner to a 25% discount on parts when servicing with Porsche Malaysia.

Factory specification:

1. Sport Chrono Package
2. Full Leather Beige Interior
3. Sport Seats
4. Electric Seat Adjustment
5. White Instrument Dials
6. Bose High End Surround Sound System
7. Porsche Crests on Headrests
8. Metal Door Sills with Model Insignia

The 997.2 Carrera S Cabriolet sits in an increasingly interesting position within the 911 family.

It retains the compact proportions, naturally aspirated engine and mechanical character that enthusiasts associate with the classic 911, while the PDK and Cabriolet configuration make it considerably easier to enjoy as an everyday or weekend car.

With only 50,000 km, a full Porsche Malaysia service history and a highly desirable factory specification, this is a particularly appealing example for someone looking for a well maintained 997.2 Carrera S Cabriolet.

A genuine modern classic that combines timeless 911 proportions, a naturally aspirated flat six and open top driving in one beautifully presented package.
