Network Engineer IT Infrastructure

We are looking for a motivated and experienced IT Infrastructure & Network Engineer to join our growing technical team. If you have hands-on experience in networking, servers, structured cabling, CCTV, firewall, and IT infrastructure projects, we would like to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities

- Install, configure and troubleshoot network infrastructure including Switches, Routers, Firewalls and Wireless Access Points.
Deploy and maintain Windows Servers, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP and File Server.
- Install and configure network racks, patch panels and structured cabling (Cat5e/Cat6/Fiber Optic).
Perform installation, testing and troubleshooting of Fiber Optic networks.
- Install, configure and maintain CCTV, Access Control and Time Attendance Systems.
Configure Firewall, VPN and network security solutions.
- Install and maintain NAS, backup solutions and virtualization platforms.
Perform preventive maintenance (PM) and corrective maintenance (CM) for IT infrastructure.
- Install, configure and support desktop computers, laptops, printers and peripherals.
- Troubleshoot hardware, software and network-related issues.
- Prepare technical documentation, reports and project handover documents.
- Attend customer sites for project implementation, maintenance and technical support.
- Work closely with project managers and customers to ensure successful project delivery.

Requirements

Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Network Engineering or equivalent.
Minimum 1 year of working experience in IT Infrastructure or Network Engineering.
Strong knowledge of:
TCP/IP Networking
VLAN
Routing & Switching
VPN
Firewall Configuration
Windows Server
Active Directory
DNS & DHCP

Experience with brands such as:
Cisco
Fortinet
Aruba
Ubiquiti
TP-Link Omada
Dell
HP
Lenovo

Experience in server installation and storage configuration is an added advantage.
Experience in Fiber Optic installation, OTDR testing and fusion splicing is an added advantage.
Familiar with CCTV installation and troubleshooting.
Able to read network diagrams and technical drawings.
Possess own transport and willing to travel for onsite projects throughout Malaysia.
Able to work independently with minimum supervision.
Good communication and problem-solving skills.
