This is the original wooden signboard from Cheong Zhan Sauce Shop (祥珍酱园)

Our family was the original owner of Xiang Zhen Sauce Shop, which later became a traditional grocery store during my grandfather’s generation. The grocery business has now ceased operation after four generations due to changing market conditions.

The signboard is estimated to be 80–100 years old and has remained with our family throughout the generations. It is an authentic piece of local business history and heritage.

Unfortunately, the old shop building is facing demolition, and we hope this historical signboard can be preserved by someone who truly appreciates its heritage rather than being destroyed.
