・Volumes 1, 3, and 4 do not have holes from thread binding, but they do bear "rental copy" stamps.
・Volume 1: Paraffin paper is stuck to the book.
・Volume 2: There is a tear in the gutter (inner margin) of the spread pages; the inside of the dust jacket shows water stains along the spine and at the bottom, and there are creases on the jacket.
・Volume 3: There are tears and splits in the gutter (inner margin) of the spread pages.
・Volume 4: There is a hole in the spine of the dust jacket caused by a tear.
