Pre-Loved Ladies Champagne Dial Rolex Datejust 6917 Steel & Yellow Gold

Pre-owned Ladies Rolex Date ref 6917 (1983). The Datejust was first introduced in 1945 as a celebration of Rolex’s 40th anniversary, and it made history as the first self-winding mechanical wristwatch to feature an automatically changing date display.

Not long after, Rolex introduced scaled-down versions for women, keeping the same core design while adjusting the proportions for a slimmer wrist.

This Rolex Date ref. 6917 in many ways sticks closely to that early formula. The two-tone case pairs stainless steel with yellow gold and is fitted with a matching Jubilee bracelet, giving the watch its familiar, slightly dressy feel.

The champagne dial works especially well here, warmed further by Tritium hour markers that have developed a deep patina over time. Lastly, a vintage acrylic crystal covers the case.
