Purchasing Executive

About the Role

JNW Packaging Sdn. Bhd. is looking for a responsible and detail-oriented Purchasing Executive to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for sourcing, purchasing, coordinating with suppliers, and ensuring materials are available to support production and business operations.

Key Responsibilities
Source and evaluate suppliers to obtain competitive pricing and quality.
Prepare Purchase Orders (PO) and follow up on order status.
Negotiate prices, delivery schedules, and payment terms with suppliers.
Coordinate with Production, Warehouse, and Finance departments on purchasing requirements.
Monitor inventory levels and ensure timely replenishment of materials.
Maintain supplier database and purchasing records.
Compare quotations and recommend the best procurement option.
Resolve supplier delivery or quality issues.
Prepare purchasing reports and cost analyses.
Ensure purchasing activities comply with company policies and procedures.

Requirements
Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Purchasing, or related field.
Minimum 2 years of purchasing or procurement experience (manufacturing experience is an advantage).
Fresh graduates with strong learning ability are encouraged to apply.
Good negotiation and communication skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
Experience with ERP or inventory systems is an added advantage.
Able to work independently and meet deadlines.
Responsible, organized, and detail-oriented.
