It's truly a beautiful antique, really solid hardwood box. It's lockable (copper lock/latch) and old type brass handles on 2 sides. The is is beautiful, high polished and its grains can be clearly seen.

This box was first used for years by my grandmother and later, by my mother who's 97yo this year. This is how I know this box to be at least 100+ yo at the very least.
