Seiko Lord Matic Ukiyo-e Dial 23J Automatic 1970

Overhauled Seiko LM (Lord Matic), no calendar, featuring an *ukiyo-e* dial (depicting "Michitose" by Shinsui Ito). Equipped with a new crystal, 23-jewel movement; manufactured in 1973. Automatic winding.

The *ukiyo-e* dial was created by a watchmaker who applied a postage stamp to the dial as an exercise to hone their technical skills—it is beautifully executed.

The watch looks even better in person than it does in the photos.

The acrylic crystal has been replaced with a brand-new, genuine part.

This is the popular "no-calendar" version.

The case shows light signs of wear, but is in excellent condition with no major damage. Any mottled appearance in the photos is simply due to light and reflections.

Comes with a new, aftermarket leather strap.
