FIRE ALARM SERVICE TECHNICIAN

Position: Fire Alarm Service Technician
Employment Type: Full-Time
Location: Selangor / Klang Valley

Job Responsibilities

- Carry out servicing, inspection and preventive maintenance of fire alarm systems.
- Troubleshoot and repair fire alarm system faults.
- Test fire alarm panels, smoke detectors, heat detectors, MCP/break glass, sounders, strobes and modules.
- Carry out fire alarm system testing and commissioning.
- Perform installation, wiring and replacement of fire alarm devices.
- Attend customer sites for breakdowns and emergency call-outs.
- Prepare service reports, checklists and maintenance records.
- Communicate with customers regarding system faults and required repairs.
- Ensure all work is carried out safely and according to company procedures and site requirements.
- Maintain company tools, equipment and vehicle in good condition.

Requirements

- Experience in fire alarm servicing is preferred.
- Knowledge of conventional and addressable fire alarm systems.
- Basic electrical/electronic troubleshooting skills.
- Able to use a multimeter and other testing equipment.
- Able to read basic electrical/fire alarm drawings.
- Possess a valid driving licence.
- Willing to travel to customer sites.
- Able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Responsible, punctual and willing to learn.
