Surveyor Cum Field Technician

Carry out basic surveying and measurement works at project sites.

Operate Dumpy Level / Auto Level, Total Station and other optical surveying instruments.

Establish and transfer levels, benchmarks and reference points.

Understand basic Easting, Northing, Elevation (RL) and coordinate systems.

Basic understanding and usage of GPS/GNSS and site coordinates.

Carry out displacement and settlement monitoring using surveying instruments.

Assist in installation and monitoring of geotechnical instruments.

Carry out field testing such as:

Field Density Test (FDT)

Plate Load / Plate Bearing Test

CBR Test

Mackintosh Probe / Dynamic Probing

Other soil and geotechnical field tests

Record field measurements accurately and maintain proper field records.

Prepare basic field data, worksheets and test records for reporting.

Handle, transport and maintain field testing and surveying equipment.

Follow site safety requirements and company procedures.

Coordinate with engineers, supervisors and other site personnel during field activities.
