Technician / Wireman

We are looking for a hands-on Technician / Wireman to support our engineering team in automation and industrial projects.

The main job scope is to handle site wiring, installation work, control panel wiring looping, wiring checking, and termination works. Suitable for candidates with basic electrical knowledge, panel wiring experience, or fresh graduates who are willing to learn.

Responsibilities:

- Carry out control panel wiring looping based on wiring drawings.
- Perform site wiring works, including cable laying, conduit, trunking, and cable management.
- Assist in installation of electrical and automation control systems.
- Carry out cable termination for control panels, sensors, motors, VFDs, PLC, HMI, and field devices.
- Support engineers during testing, troubleshooting, and commissioning.
- Perform wiring checking, continuity checking, and basic electrical inspection.
- Prepare tools, cables, components, and materials for project work.
- Assist in panel modification, panel installation, and site installation works.
- Maintain proper housekeeping and safety during site and workshop work.
- Support service and maintenance jobs when required.
- Perform any ad-hoc technical tasks assigned by management.


Requirements:

- Minimum SPM / SKM / Certificate / Diploma in Electrical, Electronic, Mechatronic, or related field.
- Basic knowledge of electrical wiring, control panel wiring, or industrial automation system.
- Able to read basic electrical wiring diagrams will be an advantage.
- Experience in panel wiring, site wiring, conduit, trunking, cable termination, or installation work will be an advantage.
- Wireman certificate such as PW2 / PW4 will be an added advantage, but not compulsory.
- Willing to work hands-on and learn from engineers.
- Able to use basic hand tools and electrical tools.
- Responsible, hardworking, and able to follow instructions.
- Able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Willing to travel to project sites when required.
- Fresh graduates with good learning attitude are encouraged to apply.
