Fiat Strada Abarth 130TC

Allow me to explain the history, features and modification to this Fiat Strada Abarth 130TC hot hatch imported into Malaysia in 1987, highlighting its unique qualities up to its current status.

 • Rare classic hot hatch: The Fiat Strada Abarth 130TC is a classic hot hatch from the 1980s, imported from the UK in 1987 and is rare in this region.
 • Performance and engineering: It features a two-litre twin-cam engine with twin carburettors producing 130bhp, a lightweight 950kg chassis and built by robots with a close-ratio five-speed ZF gearbox, delivering strong performance and a distinctive induction roar.
 • Ownership and modifications: Appreciating its superior power-to-weight ratio, I took ownership in 1992. It had included significant upgrades ie a 175 BHP engine conversion with steel billet cams, lightened flywheel, gas-flowed cylinder heads, two twin side draft 45 Dellortto carburettors, 4 to 1 exhaust system and an additional oil cooler kit, performed in 1985 by Elaborazione Colasuono in London.
 • Maintenance and recent restoration: The vehicle has been maintained with major repairs including engine overhaul, installation of a power steering and an additional brake servo - making every drive effortless and fun.

For Buyers who want to drive their classic regularly, travel confidently, enjoy modern reliability without sacrificing its iconic design, this maybe the RESTOMOD for you.

She has recently been resprayed with a Ppg Paint Silverblue Metallic.
