This rare, vintage Hong Kong comic titled 《古惑小鬼頭》 第1期 (Issue #1: 荒唐爭霸戰) is an extraordinary piece of Hong Kong comic history created by the legendary master comic artist Ma Wing Shing (馬榮成) during his earliest career entry period at Hei Bou Publishing House (喜報出版社) in the mid-1970s. This work represents Ma Wing Shing's early humor/gag strip phase long before he created legendary hit series like Fung Wan (Wind and Cloud) and Chinese Hero. The main story, "荒唐爭霸戰", delivers classic, lively 1970s local Hong Kong humor.
A special highlight on the back pages is the "四師兄弟 馬雲龍" (Four Martial Brothers / Ma Wan Lung) reader Q&A and fan interaction column, featuring Ma Wing Shing's early pen name Ma Wan Lung (馬雲龍)!
An exceptional collectible and a true grail item for hardcore HK manhua collectors and fans of Ma Wing Shing’s early art evolution!
