《臭香港》 (Foul Hong Kong) Issue #1, created and illustrated by legendary godfather of Hong Kong manhua, Wong Yuk Long (黃玉郎).
Unlike his famous martial arts epics like Little Vagabonds (Little Dragon Tiger Gate), Foul Hong Kong is a rare, highly collectible social and political satire publication from the 1970s. It lampoons 1970s Hong Kong civic issues, traffic problems, anti-littering campaigns ("spitting fines"), inflation, social pageants, and local everyday life with sharp wit and classic vintage comic art.
The issue features the iconic inaugural editorial essay (創刊詞) signed directly by Wong Yuk Long (黃玉郎) and advertises early promo art for Little Vagabonds Issue #91 on the back cover. A prized historical collectible for serious Hong Kong manhua collectors and paper ephemera enthusiasts!
