Synopsis:
Ghaur and Llyra orchestrate a scheme to sabotage Atlantis by stealing the Horn of Doom from Namorita; when Namorita mistakenly believes the New Mutants are responsible, she attacks them; only to later ally with them once the truth emerges. United with the outcast Atlantean mutant trio known as SURF, they face the monster Ghaur summons using the Horn, which ravages Atlantis with corrosive ichor. The New Mutants, SURF, and Namorita lure the beast into a deep trench, where Boom-Boom’s time-bomb and coordinated efforts collapse the canyon on it, saving the city but rendering it uninhabitable and forcing its people to flee.
