Job Description
1. Must have minimum 2 years’ experience as a supervisor in office cleaning or equivalent. The Supervisor is to supervise the work and must be full-time with COMPANY
2. Possess valid Pesticide applicator license.
3. Minimum diploma in Business Admin or equivalent.
4. Must possess a valid Oil and Gas Safety Passport (OGSP) – Only applicable for worker leaders assigned for Sipitang premises.
5. Possess Licence B2
6. Must place a major emphasis on the management and supervision of all workers to ensure and maintain a consistently high standard of cleaning services.
7. Understand and comply with the specification of the CONTRACT and shall be able conduct stock take of all tools and consumables purchased by COMPANY from CONTRACTOR and monitor availability of the items. Report should be submitted monthly with sign-off from the COMPANY.
8. Conduct random job inspection
9. Prepare and submit monthly report to COMPANY that includes information on disinfection activities, compliance to schedule, inspection activities (with photos), monthly stock take and any information required by the COMPANY from time to time.
10. Apply working permit, where required
11. Provide weekly report on cleaning and pest control (if any) activities
12. Develop work schedule for cleaning and pest control activities and Job Hazard Analysis
13. Able to attend to emergency work requirement
14. Have attended Safe Handling of Chemicals (SHOC) and ergonomic trainings provided by the COMPANY.
15. Knowledge and Abilities Required
• Possesses knowledge in office cleaning procedures, equipment, and materials handling including the chemicals, detergents, polishes and waxes, and mechanical and other equipment and tools used to effectively carry out office cleaning works.
• Possesses knowledge in scrubbing, waxing, and polishing floors, in dusting and polishing furniture, and to maintain the areas in a clean, safe, and orderly manner.
• Ability to plan, organize, and carry out office cleaning work and develop effective work methods.
• Ability to instruct and assign to employees, on housekeeping work and to supervise the performance of their work. Ability to prepare work programs and schedules for the workers.
• Ability to recognize potentially unsafe conditions and situations and report these to COMPANY.
• Ability to read, write, speak, understand, and communicate in English or Bahasa Melayu fluently to perform the duties of this position.
• Possesses basic knowledge in Microsoft Word and Excel.
