1968 Japanese Stamp Feature Chusonji Temple

Year of issue: 1968. Feature: Chusonji Temple, a significant Buddhist temple located in Hiraizumi, Iwate Prefecture, Japan.

As evidenced, the same value stamp on the right is obviously with major printing error.

Note:
i) The supposed to be shinny gold print had been printed as matt gold in colour for the building & wording NIPPON 日本郵便.

ii) The overall effects of the printing error had resulted a much darker colour in appearance of the stamp (Note: the roof, overall building with its door, windows & steps were thus non-visible).
