Up for sale is this 1973 Grand Seiko 5645-7010 56KS Black Dial Hi-Beat 28800bph Automatic Watch Only- 36mm.
A classic from the golden age of Grand Seiko, this is the 5645-7010 “Hi-Beat” automatic from the revered 56GS line.
It features a black dial with applied GS logo and fine baton indices, all housed in a compact 36mm case.
Inside ticks the Cal. 5645A — a 25-jewel, quickset date, 28,800 bph movement known for its precision.
The gold medallion caseback remains intact, paired with a period-correct GS-signed bracelet. An elegant, understated Grand Seiko that blends vintage charm with high-performance watchmaking.
The 56GS line was the first Grand Seiko to be mass-produced with the Hi-Beat movement, designed to rival Swiss chronometers of its era. The 5645-7010 is among the rarer black-dial variants.
